The "Situational Awareness Strategy System" (SASS)? PDF Print E-mail

The Situational Awareness Strategy System environment, or SASS for short, is the latest format that most of our games/events are based upon.  It is unlike any full-scale scenario game/event format that you have ever played and it is much more enjoyable too.  The SASS format/style of play is our own creation and that makes it even more unique.

SAS has been born out of several years of hearing players comment on some of the events that they have played and always wondering if there could be more to a scenario event than the typical experience offers.  We have spent well over 2 years putting this concept together and working the bugs out of it but it has been worth it and we are sure that you will agree.  The primary reason behind such a drastic change of direction from the normal scenario concept is to actually put the control of the flow of play and the missions and objectives into the hands of the players.  This is drastically different from the typical events/games where each mission and/or objective is provided to the Generals of the Armies opposing each other based on a pre-written game/event time line that the producers or hosts control.  SASS is a player controlled environment versus a producer controlled environment.  Yes, there are still rules and other guidelines involved and that is at the direction/control of the producers/hosts but they do not dictate when and where you will be engaging your opposition.

Sierra-Nevada Woodsball Players League (SNWPL) PDF Print E-mail

One of the most popular forms of tactical paintball, is the well known "Woodsball (TM)" format that has been popularized (and Trademarked) by the SPPL (Scenario Paintball Players League).  There are several smaller groups and teams that have adopted this style of play for their own weekend get togethers and it is easy to understand why.  This format is just plain awesome and is highly competitive.  Well, we have taken it a bit further with our own unique version of this format and we are sure that it will exceed all expectations.

Introducing, the Sierra-Nevada Woodsball Players League (SNWPL).  This format of play is based on how the original concept of how paintball really began and is intended to remain as true as possible to the original concepts of that era.  The objective of this format is to score as many points as possible during the game time by completing missions and taking and holding objectives as outlined by your pre-game briefing from the Field Command Center and outlined in the basic rules.  Unlike several, more prominent groups, our rules and structures will be very easy and simple to understand but make no mistake, they will cover what needs to be covered.

Special Forces Operations Group - Sierra 1 (SFOG-S1) PDF Print E-mail

Unlike any other event developer or producer in the industry, we at Widowmaker have found a way to create a special category and format for the "unconventional" scenario based events.  We have done this through our Special Forces Operations Group - Sierra 1 (SFOG-S1) program team.  This team is solely responsible for the creation, development and production of specialized events that are geared towards training, testing and supporting those "special role player skills" that are often taken for granted at a typical scenario event.
